A New York City-based Audio Visual, Lighting, and Staging company is seeking an experienced and motivated Lighting Programmer/Operator to manage intelligent lighting rigs for live events. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in lighting programming, rigging, crew coordination, and client relations within the corporate and special event industries. Proficiency with HedgeHog lighting control systems is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Operate lighting systems for live events, ensuring smooth and impactful visual presentations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, attending meetings and designing lighting plans to enhance atmosphere and align with creative direction.
• Develop detailed lighting plots, specifying light placements, colors, and dimming settings.
• Manage on-site lighting operations, adhering to budget constraints and prioritizing safety.

Compensation: $40- $65/hour
